Founded in 2017, the Curling Club of Rochester (CCR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer-led organization committed to bringing the great sport of curling to the city of Rochester, Minnesota.
While curling is a popular pastime throughout the state, there is no dedicated curling facility in Southeast Minnesota. We currently curl on arena ice in the North Rink at the Rochester Recreation Center. Our goal is to secure a dedicated curling facility where local curlers, potential curlers, and curious onlookers can meet, play, and socialize together.
In addition to Recreational Leagues, during the season we host Learn to Curl and outdoor Pop-up Curling events as well as Bonspiels — all creating opportunities for both new and experienced curlers to play and connect in our community.
Our current fundraising effort is set to help us as we transition from an arena club to a dedicated facility club. We would greatly appreciate any participation and/or financial support to curling in Rochester. All donations are tax deductible.
Most importantly, we want you to give this sport a try. We hope to see you on the ice!
Dedicated Facility Updates June 24, 2025: We’re also pleased to announce that we’ve gained the support of the Rochester Sports Foundation. After reviewing our presentation and vision, the Foundation expressed their enthusiasm for the project and offered their support as we move forward. Their willingness to assist adds meaningful momentum and credibility as we work through the next phases!
